abstract = "A region with many incidents of forest fires, the Chapada
Diamantina National Park needs criteria for management in order to
mitigate these fires in the area. We present here the
identification of areas with increasing trends of fires based on
remote sensing data and cloud processing by the Google Earth
Engine platform. The trend values were grouped into 6 classes and
the results show that more than 50% of the occurrences are located
in the attention zone. The maximum class alert is observed in the
southern portion of the region, known as Gerais do Machobongo,
with 48% of the hot spots identified in this class. The results
and discussions presented here can contribute to the decision
making in the prioritization of monitoring areas, as well as
direct critical areas to study the impacts on the fauna and flora
of the affected sites.",
